Highlighted Properties

Over the last several years, the City of Valparaiso has placed an emphasis on having both shovel-ready sites and commercial buildings available for local expansion and new prospects.  The City has focused on the business corridor around the intersection of State Road 49 and State Road 30.  This area includes easy access to both regional and interstate highways, and is also close to the Porter County Regional Airport and both the CSX and NS rail lines.  Currently the area supports both Eastport Center Commercial Park and Montdale Industrial Park.

 

Eastport Spec Building --  In partnership with Holladay Properties, a 50,000 sq./ft. spec building is being constructed on property within Eastport Center Commercial Park.  The building did receive tax abatement and is contained within the City's Consolidated TIF District.  Please contact Michael Micka at mmicka@holladayproperties.com for additional information.

Eastport Center Parcel --  Wanting to spur further development within the Eastport Center Commercial Park, the City's Redevelopment Commission acquired 40 acres of undeveloped property.  With a focus on seeing the property fully developed, the Redevelopment Commission has been entertaining proposals to fully develop the parcel.  The development is contained within the City's Consolidated TIF District.  Please contact Patrick Lyp (plyp@valpo.us) for additional information. 

Lakes of Valparaiso --  In partnership with Weiss Entities, a 90+ acre business park will be open in the Fall of 2015 along State Road 49.  The City provided $2.5 million in infrastructure funds.  The development is contained within the City's Consolidated TIF District.  Additional Information can be found here.  Please contact Kelly Disser (NAI Hiffman) kdisser@hiffman.com for additional information.
